I seem to have issues settling down on a career. I mostly drifted in my 20s, and then thought I would be able to settle down an academic path in my 30s but personal stuff happened and that didn’t pan out. I would try out things in a different field but certain career paths seem closed to me no matter how hard I try. I’m getting a little frustrated and also worried about how this will turn out financially in the future. Part of me just wants some stability on this part of my life. Is there anything I can do or should focus on to find that career and financial stability?
