In today's world, a lot of companies build around the complexity and term of being "AI-first." Do automotive tech companies also build around this, or does it actually help scale the automotive industry into a more modern, tech-driven one?

From whatever I have been reading, Tekion is positioning itself heavily around AI and cloud platforms, specifically for one industry. So my question is more for engineers or data folks who've been there. Is the AI work genuinely cutting-edge or more applied/maintenance?
