Cancellation charges in Adarsh Parkland Phase 2.
I have booked a flat in Adarsh Parkland Phase 2, and I'm thinking of cancelling it. I've already paid 10 percent of sale value.
The booking form that I signed states that the booking amount will be forfeited. I want to know if there's anyone here who has cancelled a flat, and received the refund. How long did the refund take? Is the booking amount deducted, is there any way to get that back? I had been told while booking that nothing will be deducted if it is cancelled before agreement, but that seems like just sweet talk by the sales agents and channel partners. Now that I want to cancel, both sales representative and the channel partners are saying the booking amount will not be refunded.
Why I want to cancel? It's because I have found several discrepancies in what had been told to me and what I'm seeing on RERA website. I have raised these concerns with the builder but I've been told it's just a mistake on RERA website. Now, when I asked about cancellation, they have changed their stance and say whatever is written on booking form will be upheld. So, I'm pretty sure now, that when I do get possession, things are not going to be as promised and will be as it is on RERA, or worse.
I'm also concerned that since it is a major diversion from what is uploaded on RERA, what would the impact be after possession.
