Fender Flair Opinions
I have not had fender flairs on my XJ in over a decade. However, I am getting older and no longer enjoy the mud splatter every time we hit a puddle on the trail.
I have refrained from installing traditional fender flares because I wheel hard and would likely damage them pretty quickly.
Recently I cut a piece of horse stall mat for a project and was left with this strip. It got me thinking about whether this would make for a good fender flare. It is durable, flexible, and will only cost about $40 to make them.
What's your opinions on the functionality and the look of it? It doesn't look terrible in my opinion but then again it could also look stupid lol
Don't mind the mud, haven't gotten around to washing it yet
