Takes on the logic of Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die?

I absolutely loved this wild, fun, clever movie. Which is also, depending on how you look at it, extremely dark.

Whose story are we really in, inside the film?

Is it Ingrid? Who is the actual main character who lives in an AI-controlled world as the only person immune to it, but who doesn’t know she is immune until the arrival of the Time Traveler, who every time he leaves a timeline goes and creates another branch universe on his next attempt? Therefore leaving everyone he meets each time trapped in a world of consequences that his arrival created for them?

Or is the Time Traveller the main character, who really is experiencing a Ground Hog day in the real world’s past, that he might sometime actually succeed in changing and freeing everyone from the AI?

Or is he trapped the whole time in the real world post apocalypse future, where as a kid he put on the headset and the whole film is a storyline the AI feeds him to keep him trapped?

Or has the AI also learned to time travel and is going back in time always to make sure it exists, therefore creating the surreal world we see the characters inhabit, full of monsters?

Is it somehow all of these?

Questions! What a ride, excited to rewatch it.
