I currently using a Fluance RT85 with Ortofon Blue. It's an okay table, but really don't care for the vintage aesthetic of them. I was leaning towards the Pro-Ject Evo 2 but then was considering the Debut pro as it has VTA and azimuth adjustments which are not a necessity, but nice to have the flexibility when upgrading carts in the future. Then I was thinking of a more end all be all option of just going with the X2b. The old "buy once, cry once". I could never see myself spending or needing anything more than that. IF I go with the Evo 2 or Pro I will get the upgraded acrylic platter. I just can't convince myself I will hear a difference spending twice as much on the X2. Anyone care to talk some sense into me?
