FPGEC timeline?

I’ve already submitted everything to NABP for FPGEC, and all my documents are done except the proof of licensure, which should be sent by next week or by July 15th. So basically my file will be fully complete around mid-July.
Do you think there’s still a chance to get approved this year if everything becomes complete at that time? Has anyone been in a similar situation where your application got completed around July and still made it in time for FPGEE?

Which is better for pharmacy intern hours after FPGEE: CVS, Walgreens, or independent pharmacy?

I’m currently working as a pharmacy technician at CVS for the past 5 months, but honestly I still feel like I haven’t learned completely because it’s an extremely busy pharmacy. The store is also a little far from my home.

I asked for a transfer to a CVS closer to home, but they said they were choosing someone else. My current manager also hasn’t been very supportive, so I’m now thinking whether I should continue at CVS or apply to Walgreens near my home instead.

My home is in a smaller city, so I feel the stores there may not be as busy, and I might get more time to actually learn and balance my FPGEE preparation as well.

My main goal is to complete my pharmacy intern hours after passing the FPGEE and becoming an intern. I wanted to hear opinions from people who worked at CVS, Walgreens, or independent pharmacies for their intern hours.

-Which setting is better for transitioning from technician to intern?
-Does Walgreens or CVS give better opportunities/support for interns?
-Is independent pharmacy better if the goal is to complete hours faster and actually learn more?
-Did working as a technician help you get intern hours in the same company?

I’d especially appreciate advice from international pharmacists/FPGEE candidates who went through this process. Thank you!
