Hi, J-Alphaz here. I came across an X post by an Alphaz who attended Simon’s first trial.

I translated it into English for those of you who are curious about what he said during the trial.

• Chancellor, who had been working for XGALX, had his contract terminated.
• Simon first used drugs in 2014 with former Avex employee Hasegawa.
• “I used drugs during a really difficult period in my life, after I had already overcome many hardships.”

Side note: Simon can speak Japanese, but he is not completely fluent. According to the Alphaz who attended the trial, there were moments when he couldn't fully understand the prosecutor’s questions and had to ask for clarification. When he used the word “it was a way to bond with people.”, he may have been trying to express a slightly different nuance, but couldn’t find the exact Japanese word in the moment. (That kind of expression sounds a bit unnatural in Japanese.)
