23M seeking for advice
Turning 24 in about 4 months. Having many goals that I want to hit financially, graduated university about 6 months ago. Been working since high school but just part time jobs, not much saving but thankfully debt free.
Landed a job recently that will earn me around 52 grand annually before tax. I do not have a reliable vehicle to go to work, have 2500$ invested and 5000$ saving. Rent is about 800$/ month because I share the house with a couple of people. I have had a used vehicle that decide to break down on me with a bunch of heavy money-costing issues so I decide to sell it but I fortunately have people around who are willing to help me out with their vehicles and make it work. Thing is though, I spend so much time running around whenever they need it back.
So I am here now looking for advice to see how much longer should I hang on to this before deciding to finance a car because I feel like I don’t have enough money to do anything.
