Seeking advice on B2 boots for alpine peaks also passable for multi-day hiking in 0-10 degrees C
Hi,
These will be my first boots suitable for mountaineering. Previously only done day hikes in trekking boots.
I am specifically looking for a versatile model that allows for 4000 metre peaks requiring crampons, and preferrably also higher non-technical mountains such as Kilimanjaro and Aconcagua, while also okay for several days of hiking in 0-10 degrees celsius muddy conditions such as that of Kungsleden northern Sweden in mid June. The reason for this as opposed to one trekking model and one potentially heavier B2 is cutting costs.
Do you believe there is such a boot?
Edit: I am a mid twenties man weighing 70 kg, with ”ultralight” packing and a fairly high VO2-max if that matters for choice of model.
Thanks in advance
