What was it like being a fan of Mach at Day On, around his mixtape, debut album and sophomore album?

So I’m just getting into music production, mostly making small hip hop beats. Been using waveform free but not a fan of the sampling tools in it. Any suggestions on a free DAW with better sampling tools?

mostly looking for better sampling tools because I don’t know much music theory

some of the beasts that you find in the game are hybrids, half beasts half men, plus the suspicious beggar has shown the ability to willingly turn into a beast and communicate. I don't think it would be impossible to think that it would be possible to domesticate/rehumanise/pacify the beasts.
