Seeking help- yellow leaves
Hoping to get help for my dahlias, I’m struggling with this, I’ve had her for about 3-4 months now. Background: I don’t know the exact type (I tried to google), I’m in LA (Hollywood) in an apt so she lives on the balcony in a pot, south facing, zone 10b. However, we’ve had generally much cooler and overcast weather for the last month and not nearly as much sun hits my balcony. Almost all of my plants are full sun and have thrived, until now… I was told to cut the yellow and dead leaves, did that, more are yellowing, some new growth but even the new growth is starting to turn yellow. Fertilizer used: fox farms big bloom with guano and earthworm castings. There was what looked like powdery mildew on the leaves, I don’t use chemicals because I raise monarch butterflies so I can’t have anything near my other flowers that could risk harming the pollinators. Any help would be greatly appreciated I really don’t want to lose her.
