H1B Visa appointment backlog in India (based in New York)
Hey everyone,
Like many of you, I have my H-1B approval but cannot find a stamping appointment in India. It is incredibly frustrating being stuck in the U.S. and unable to travel to see family because the U.S. Department of State isnt releasing enough slots.
Instead of just waiting around, I want to take action. I am organizing a mass letter-writing campaign to our local U.S. Representatives and Senators to pressure the State Department for more visa slots and faster processing. Lawmakers pay attention when enough voters and local workers complain about the same issue.
I started a Telegram group to help us coordinate this by state, share ready-to-use letter templates, and track our progress.
