Wondering if there will be any meaningful benefit to moving away from my daily driver interface- the Universal Audio Volt 1- to anything in the sub $300 price range.

It would need to do double duty like the volt- driving headphones (HD490 pros) alongside a set of powered monitors (via balanced outs).

Don't particularly care about inputs/phantom power/ because I don't record. I haven't bothered with room correction for the monitors because they're used for casual listening 99.9% of the time.
