Berried shrimp in Betta tank advice

Alright, so long story short. My folks got my kid a Betta, $350 later and after going down a Reddit hole on how to properly care for these things I did a fish-in cycle, added some friends and am planning on upgrading from this 3 gallon tank to something bigger.

Looks like one of my shrimp got knocked up and we'll have some shrimplets pretty soon. I figured that with millions of years of evolution under their belt, and in a tightly controlled environment they already have a leg up.

That being said, given my setup should I do any additional prep work? I have a little treasure chest that can provide an additional hiding spot that I can put in, but I figured that the log in the center and the plants are enough.

Any advice would be appreciated.

This corner tub was installed and worked when I purchased this home 5 years ago. I had the faucet going and when I went to turn it off, the faucet wasn't catching properly. Luckily I mostly got it turned off, now it's just a trickle. Even with pliers the stem just spins almost freely.

I thought it was the knobs set screw but it isn't. I called a plumber, he wasn't able to get the thing turned off either and recommended I try to find a specialist.

To me, it doesn't look like there's a way to access the internals of the tub, and I wasn't able to find a service manual.

Any help in identifying this would be appreciated. Hopefully I can figure out a way to open it up and replace the busted valve.
