The fastest hiring process ever

I am a starbucks manager that is leaving the company tmrw.

A week ago I applied, yesterday I came in to the ware house to drop off my resume and put face to my application. Scheduled an interview today, had my initial interview and final interview all in one day. Got home, got a call and was asked to come back next week for onboarding processes!

Wow as fast Costco is at everything, they were quick to hire!

I applied to an admin role at first but was told those jobs are hired internally, but they had a position to fill in the meat department for closing and sanitation. I was willing to do any job so I said I would go for that role. In the end GM offered me if I would consider working for the front end position! Honestly I am so new to this part of the warehouse business and I just don’t know what to expect yet!

What can I expect! Super excited to join this amazing company!

I swear. My wife and I were writing a draft to sendto a local senator for assistance and then I received an email.

“We have taken an action on your case”

Still not sure if it is approved or denied or not nervously I log on.

Submitted November 19 2025

Expired Fev 19 2026

Case approved April 27 2026

This was the darkest timeline in my life. It was a sickening experience and never want to experience it again. Maybe i should apply for my renewal of this renewal now so it meets the next deadline.

Seriously for the people who are still waiting I am so sorry but I expect the best to come.

Thank you and goodbye to this group for a while. Here I live again.
