Urgent suggestion on a passive rewinder that actually works

I HAVE A P1S and the filament retracts a good distance.

Why we don't have a open source active rewinder and pairs well with BMCU?

I tried Vincent's model first and other hub models suggested in this sub reddit and top ones from MakerWorld. All either stop working or the springs break after continues usages. Anyone manage to figure out something that works?

Filamentalist is on the way right now, but I am keeping that as my last hope. (what I hear form my Voron friends, that this is also hard to tune, and he ended up switching to Box Turtle just so he need not use any rewinder.

Maybe its just me doing something wrong.

I am really at a stage where I feel like just selling the BMCU and order an expensive official AMS.

List of what I have tried so far:

https://www.printables.com/model/1327579-auto-rewinder-remix
https://www.printables.com/model/1503754-stand-alone-auto-rewinder
and obviously the Legend's https://www.printables.com/model/168-universal-auto-rewind-spool-holder-mm

(I have printed the springs in multiple filaments just to be sure its not the material type, I tried PLA, PETG and ABS so far)
