Hi,
I’m planning to apply for the 2027 admissions cycle and wanted to get a sense of how competitive my profile might be.

Here’s a quick overview of my background:

• 10th: 96%
• 12th: 94% (Science: P/C/M) (leadership position at my school, multiple fests won, volunteered)
• Bachelor’s in Design: 8.32 CGPA (topped my batch for the last 2 sems) (part of a club actively, planning committee of our fest, hackathons)
• Product Designer at an analytics/consulting company ~1.6 years of work experience (worked on 0-> 1 products as well)
• Promoted recently (May 2026), Received awards at work
• Did a guest lecture for a well known design university

I want to switch to Product Management.

I’d love to hear any thoughts on my profile strength, areas I should improve before applying, and what GMAT FE score I should target.

I really want to target the YL program, but considering I have 1.5 years of workex already I would have to leave my job and then apply. Should I be targeting the PGP program instead?
