Can anyone identify this romantic comedy movie featuring time travel at the end?
I’m trying to recall a romantic comedy/drama film where a guy starts out trying to win over a popular girl he barely knows—mostly for the sake of status. As the story unfolds, he ends up meeting another girl with whom he shares a much more natural and genuine connection.
Even so, he ends up getting together with the popular girl in the end, and this leads to a somewhat unhappy or hollow relationship—as if he had made the "wrong" choice after all.
However, at the very end of the movie, there’s a twist: he realizes—too late—that he didn't make the right choice. The story then employs time travel as a last-ditch device, allowing him to go back and try to set things right, resulting in a happier ending with the girl with whom he truly had chemistry.
