After a year.
I'm coming up on the end of my year, wanted to toss my view on this app. At first I was enjoying it quite a bit. Memory was me but the characters seemed to atleast stay true to either their game/movie/TV etc counterpart or the vibe given by the description.
However as more updates rolled out, and time went on, I started noticing more problems with the bots (Regardless on the maker). Their memory became worse and worse, they would pull nonsensical bits from my previous statements (I understand llms do that but im pretty sure a bot asked me if I would tattoo the walls)
With pinning, early on it seemed to help however even still without babying and constant ooc lines the bot loses what ever thread its on quickly, REGARDLESS of which model I use (Honestly basic and rpg seem to be the best for most things)
The censorship while I dislike how annoying it can be if certain words are in the same prompt but have ZERO to do with one another that the Ai flags it as a no no. I've gotten creative with wording and while not perfect im satisfied.
I enjoy that im not paying currency of some kind per message (as a annual member) but overall im kinda bummed at the nosedive this app has taken since I got it.
As a side note to any dev on this forum no im not going to send you the list of chat bots having memory issues. Its regardless of the bots age on the app, created by me vs others vs you guys. Short of a massive update probably won't renew, which is a shame I liked this app over others I tried.
