Concert video recommendations
I’ve been into Genesis since We Can’t Dance was released. I think it was Mike’s opening guitar riff on No son of Mine that initially pulled me into the Genesis orbit. Since then I’ve slowly worked my way backwards through all the albums…now I don’t think I can go a week without listening to Supper’s Ready. I’ve got LPs, cassettes and CDs… But I have never been to a Genesis concert, nor watched a video of one. I think I’ve been missing out!
Could anyone recommend where I should start? A top 5 would be great if anyone is keen to weigh in. Are many full concerts available on YouTube or the streaming platforms or do I need to go on a DVD hunt? I love Genesis from all eras but it seems right that I should start this expedition back in the Gabriel era.
