For years I've been trying to recall a specific episode from a tv show

from either the late 80s or early 90s. I could have sworn it was from Tales from the Crypt but have not been successful in my search. From what I recall, there is a scene that takes place in a dark ride/carnival ride and a guy that I believe was wrapped up like a mummy was killed (stabbed I believe) and the onlookers on the ride cart thought it was part of the ride.
