Last year my filter started throwing bits of sand when backwashing. I also noticed sand in the steps going into the pool it might be coming from the jets. How bad is this? This is my 4th season doing all my pool maintenance

Been making slow progress on this guy but we've come a long way. I obviously missing some of the BIG hits but these prices man!
