I wanted to try solo camping, which I've never done. I know Abraham Lake has a public land use camping spot that just needs a park pass, no reservations. I'm also aware of wildlife, so I'm definitely bringing bear spray.

Just wanted to know if it's safe for starting solo camp even just for a night. Mainly there for astrophotography.
