I replaced my transmission pan gasket on my 292 y block last night. The gasket came with a new filter. I put it on, it didn’t come with screws or a strap to hold it in place when I reinstalled the pan. It’s a ford o matic transmission. Anything I’ve looked up said it should be held in place with screws, a strap or it’s just held in place by the pan itself. Could you guys help me figure out how it’s held in place.
