I understand the general “estrogen and progesterone fluctuations” explanation, but I’m hoping someone can explain the specific hormonal changes that cause different symptoms from cycle to cycle.
I rarely get breast soreness before my period, so when it does happen, I’m curious what changed. Was there more progesterone this cycle? More estrogen? What actually triggers those shifts, and why do they vary?
Basically: what hormone changes cause which PMS symptoms, and why aren’t they consistent every month? I’m just trying to understand my body better. Thanks in advance!
