This isn't a long one but I really wanted to share, I see alot of rants about family and friends not respecting their sleep and not understanding the time difference. My family and friends do and I feel very seen. I recently returned to night shift after working days and it's completely different than before. My Sister recently had a baby, and instead of calling me in the day, she called me at 4am while doing a night feed, it wasn't a long FaceTime but it meant the world that she thought about the time and knew I was free so she folded me in like it was no big deal. My mom just saw me up and filling the washing machine, no "since your up", no "hey you feel like helping me", no "are you planing on doing the dishes now?", all she said was " hey, if you need I can flip that in an hour" then after talking for a little bit she looked at her phone and realized it was close to 4pm she told me I should try and get a little more sleep before work. Feeling thankful and wanted to share!
