Proficiency and Enemy Difficulty
So, I'm still not clear on the impact of proficiency on the game overall.
Sure, higher proficiency levels equal higher equipment rewards.
But it seems to me that the enemies also scale up.
Defeating the first enemies on the first run with proficiency 1 is almost the same difficulty as defeating them with proficiency 15.
By difficulty in here I do not mean their behavior, but how many hits they take.
I also understand that with better weapons, you gain some alternative effects on them.
However, the game seems to scale everything.
So, what is the point of having a higher proficiency?
Is it worth to start all runs on biome 1, such as in Returnal, or can I just teleport to whichever biome I want and lose nothing, apart from some artifacts?
