Worth adding Kakizore Gorge after the Nakasendo (Magome → Nagiso) hike?

Doing the Magome → Tsumago → Nagiso hike tomorrow and planning to start around 6am. I’ll probably reach Nagiso pretty early and was considering adding Kakizore Gorge afterward.

Does Kakizore feel like a worthwhile add-on to the Nakasendo hike? How is the walk from Nagiso to Kakizore, and how beautiful is the gorge really? It’s supposed to be cloudy tomorrow.

I’d likely just do a shorter in-and-out gorge walk, not a huge extra hike. Would you personally recommend adding it after the full Magome → Nagiso hike, or do you think it’d be better to just head to Kyoto earlier instead?

Will I make this transfer with only 19 mins in Takayama?

I’m taking the 6:45am Nohi Bus from Hirayu Onsen to Takayama (arrives 7:41am). Then I need to catch a bus from Takayama Bus Center at 8:00am to Magome.

Is 19 minutes enough to make this transfer comfortably, or is it too tight? I don’t have luggage.

Also wondering if the Hirayu → Takayama bus is usually on time.

Thanks!
