Our chair has decided to insert themselves into the decision of what pre-reqs can be used for a few of our service courses, largely taught by term faculty. These alternative they are allowing are not suitable but would only effect a small number of students. I am surprised that this control was taken out of the instructor's hands but then I wondered if this was unusual or not...
