Hello,
Last year I (regretfully) decided to put myself down for a phone plan for my younger brothers girlfriend who was 17 at the time, cause she wasn't able to do it herself since was a minor. She has since turned 18 but also broken up with my brother, and keeps refusing to pay the payments on time. I have no contact with her directly but one of her friends have told me she has the money but is refusing to pay it to "just make me worry", and is even planning on getting a new phone and just ditching the one I'm paying for all together. I know everything would've been in my name and I knew the risks when I decided to do it, but I'm just wondering if there's any legal action I can look into taking against her, or have I just fucked myself over? Thank you!
Edit: I realised I wasn't specific enough with the information lol. The phone plan also included a brand new phone (from memory it was like an iPhone or Samsung I believe) and was through Telstra. She made her own Telstra account, she just wasn't able to get a credit check for the payments which is where I stepped in. I also get messaged the receipts for each payment if that helps at all.
