I was on Orilissa for 5 months, post stage 3 die. I wasn’t in much pain on a daily basis prior to having surgery just had very long and very painful periods. My surgeon recommended the Orilissa to starve any microscopic lesions he didn’t get. I was very against it at first but was willing to try. I didn’t have any periods while on it so I don’t have any pain comparison but it eradicated my pmdd, which was the main reason I stayed on it for *almost* the 6 months. I stopped because I just don’t feel good, and am having awful bowel movement problems since the surgery.

I am over a month off of it and I feel the same and have yet to get my period. The only change is that I have gained almost 10 pounds since stopping. I have read on here that most get it within the first month and am honestly worried that there is something wrong and I won’t be getting a period again.

I am not very open to going back to my surgeon about this. I would like to find a new doctor but was hoping to get my first cycle first so that I knew my hormones were leveling out.

Does anyone have any advise or similar experiences?
