I (18F, 5’2, 95lbs) have hypermobile elhers danlos syndrome and fell down the stairs a few hours ago. I have a skewed pain tolerance - subluxations have felt like the end of the world for me, yet when i broke my wrist as a child i didn’t go to urgent care for days since i couldn’t tell if the pain was “bad enough”. After falling I had this awful pain on my inner knee, I was yelling in pain and felt like I was going to throw up. After laying down for about 10 minutes the pain faded, but now I can’t bend my knee at certain angles or put weight on it without sharp pain in my inner knee. Should I go to the doctor or is it likely just a strain? I have no swelling.

i have elhers danlos syndrome which is the reason for my concern, i try my best to avoid sports and activities that could cause me any injuries. a few hours ago i fell down the stairs and had awful pain in the back of my knee (like screaming and trying not to throw up pain) after about 10 minutes of laying down i felt fine, but now anytime i put weight on my knee or bend it certain ways i get sharp pain that shoots downward into my calf. should i go to urgent care or dismiss it
