First time growing and I’ve definitely made some mistakes with this plant

It started in terrible compact soil with no perlite, got stretched out early, then I transplanted it and probably stressed the roots more than I should’ve. After that I kept overwatering because I thought droopy leaves always meant thirsty.

Finally got one of those moisture meters and realized parts of the pot were staying super wet while other spots dried way faster. Since then I switched to letting it dry more between waterings and it seems happier.

Now it’s outside getting full sun every day and I just noticed pistils starting to come in. The old leaves still look rough/yellow but the newer growth and tops look a lot healthier to me.

Not expecting huge yields or anything, I’m mostly surprised it survived long enough to flower lol. What do you think over water?, nutrient issue?, also why is it flowering, isnt it to small? Any tips or advice will help a lot thanks.
