I have been in the SAVE plan for a long time. I hit 121 months in December 2025, so I applied for buyback then. So now I am waiting. I lost my full time job right after I applied for buyback. I know I’m supposed to switch plans soon. But I should just apply for forbearance, right? Switching plans is pointless for me since I’m not working, right? Is there a deadline for when I have to apply for forbearance? Thank you for your advice.
