Dr Pimentel Confusion

I'm confused. I understand the research shows that Sino is most likely caused by food poisoning. And for that there is no cure.

What is the cause of IMO?

I understand IMO is harder to treat, but logic would tell me, if treated and it isn't caused by food poisoning which has no cure, then is should have a lower relapse rate. Is that accurate? Why is it harder to eradicate permanently?

Is IMO less likely to relapse? If more. Why?

Do high numbers on methane or length of time with IMO indicate your relapse predictability rate?

If elemental diet starves the bacteria, why isn't it the first option?

Do you need biofilm busters when taking the elemental diet?
