What Sickens Me Most About This Entire Case
What I find the most disgusting about this entire case is that Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, their team, their lawyers, and even some of the content creators pushing this narrative knew this was a lie. They knew. And they did it anyway because there was money, influence, PR, and social currency attached to it.
They were willing to ruin a man’s life, his wife’s life, his children’s lives, his business partner’s life, and the lives of everybody connected to him. And when I say ruin, I mean ruin. They tried to financially execute this man. Blow up his business. Destroy his reputation. Turn him into a social pariah. Push him completely out of polite society.
And all of this over hurt feelings and ego.
The lawyers knew. The PR people knew. The creators taking payments to push narratives knew. Every single one of them knew they were participating in a lie designed to publicly destroy somebody, and they did not care because there was something in it for them.
That’s the part that sickens me the most. Not just the accusations themselves, but the coordinated willingness to knowingly try to destroy another human being and his family for profit, power, and image protection.
And I pray that one day every single one of them has to answer for it.
