BlueDart lost my warranty return package and now both BlueDart and Headphone Zone are passing the blame — need help

So this has been going on for a while now and I'm genuinely frustrated, just putting everything out here hoping someone has dealt with something similar or can point me in the right direction.

I bought a Moondrop Chu 2 DSP (unboxed variant) from Headphone Zone. Within 18 days, the DSP connector started getting hot and there was constant hissing — tried it on multiple devices, changed audio files via the Moondrop app, nothing fixed it. Raised a warranty claim and HPZ approved it pretty quickly, gave me WCID and AWB , and said BlueDart would come pick it up.

Here's where things went sideways:

  1. BlueDart never showed up for the scheduled pickup. Instead, someone from the hub called and straight up told me to come drop it off myself. That's literally BlueDart's job, but fine — I went anyway.

  2. I packed everything properly, labelled the box with the WCID and AWB as instructed, handed it over at the hub.

  3. Days passed. No update from either side. HPZ said they never received anything.

  4. Called BlueDart multiple times (got ignored mostly). Finally someone told me the AWB I had written on the package had "expired" and they had taken NEW numbers from HPZ to forward the package.

  5. I asked BlueDart for the new AWB to track it — they flat out refused and told me to ask HPZ.

  6. Mailed HPZ — they said they never issued any new AWB numbers and told me to wait while they contact the BlueDart manager.

  7. TODAY I get an email from HPZ saying BlueDart has no record of the package being handed over at their office, and they're asking me to visit the hub and share the address or provide a receipt.

So now BlueDart is acting like I never gave them anything. I don't have a physical receipt because they didn't give me one at the time (rookie mistake, I know). But I do have the original AWB, the email from HPZ approving the pickup, and the fact that BlueDart themselves told me on call that the original AWB expired and they took new numbers — which means they clearly had the package at some point.

This feels like I'm going to be left holding the bag here with no IEM and no replacement.

Has anyone dealt with something like this with HPZ or BlueDart? What should I do from here? Should I escalate to consumer forum? Any advice is appreciated 🙏
