New Carrier "Performance" series HVAC with 7 wire Ecobee thermostat installed.

Only one stage Y1 is connected on the AC terminal.

Installer claims that AC will automatically switch over to stage 2 but everything I read says it will not unless commanded by the thermostat.

I dont see a Y2 terminal on the AC board.

Please advise how to connect the Y2 for stage 2 cooling.
