Looking for a truly authentic Mexican cookbook (gift idea)
Hi! I’m looking for recommendations for a really authentic Mexican cookbook. I’m first-generation Mexican, so I already grew up with traditional recipes, but my boyfriend is Puerto Rican and loves Mexican food.
I want to gift him a cookbook that feels as authentic and true to Mexican cooking as possible not Tex-Mex or overly Americanized. Something that really captures regional dishes, traditional techniques, and real flavors.
I’m open to books in English or Spanish, and bonus points if it’s a beautiful gift too.
What would you recommend?
