My back garden is the result of years of neglect from tenants of the house and our landlords going at the front garden but having no proper waste solution and then dumping the waste on the back for it to grow back there.

The ground is uneven but I can’t do anything about that. There’s also a big pit in the middle that used to be a fountain, I’m going to turn it into a fire pit to sort out the scrap wood problem we have in the shed and make use of the random rocks.

This is only really about 8 hours of progress. I’m working with a hoe, a shovel, a yard brush and a lot of salt. I’m on a shoestring budget too. The tree at the far end of the garden has to stay. We’ve got some sort of bush thing that won’t stop growing back too.

Obviously I’m no professional and this is my first crack at gardening. My main goal is to just clear everything. I’m not worried about preserving anything plant life or having anything grow back outside of a pot so. I would love some advice on how to speed up the process too!
