I’m restarting my journey after moving from 1 state to another, and this time, the surgeon’s giving me a choice between sleeve and bypass. The surgeon told me it’s the same recovery time, and he says that I will lose more weight with bypass than sleeve. He said he doesn’t want me to regret my decision later on. For background, I’m relatively healthy, no diabetes, no high blood pressure, BMI of 38, but I do have sleep apnea and currently on CPAP for it. I know each person has their own journey, and I’m hoping reading different ones will help me decide.

Which procedure did you get, are you happy with your results, and if you had the option to pick the other, would you have?
