Patrimony name different in Certificate vs. Passport
Hello! I’m about to apply for my first British passport after naturalising. I’m originally from Russia, so have a patrimony (middle) name. I have a bit of a conundrum with names included.
Russian international passport: Patrimony name appears only in Cyrillic letters. English version has only my Name Surname
Naturalisation certificate: Includes Patrimony name
Passport Application: I included Patrimony name to ensure it matches with naturalisation certificate
It’s not ideal but I don’t care so much if it’s printed in my British passport, but I’m worried Passport Office will flag the difference (as it’s technically different to my passport, at least in English spelling) and things will get delayed. Has anyone had a similar experience?
