Apps or extensions to limit charging percentage

Are there any extensions or apps that would limit the max charging percentage of my laptop? I was using a dead battery for last 2-3 months and laptop worked only when I was charging it. Recently I replaced the battery and it is fine now but wanted to limit the charging capacity to maybe 90 percent so that it doesn't affect the battery.

Currently using fedora 44 on HP 15s-du3047TX laptop.

Suggestion on Fedora 44

Planning to switch from windows to Fedora so need suggestions if anyone is using it as a daily driver mainly on updates, packages, apps and drivers support.

Also it is taking a lot of time to download ISO. Has anyone faced this and would it impact any package installations?

Planning to switch from windows to Ubuntu 26.04, how much space does it take up for installation alone? I have 256 GB SSD laptop and windows takes up around 110 GB I think only for installation. Mainly want to use it for development and general work. Would it be better to switch directly to Ubuntu or dual boot first and check comparability of laptop?
