Best way to invite Non-FAT friends along for a trip?
Hi there - we are firmly in the FAT range ($7M HHI, NW $10M and growing). A lot of this is due to sudden acceleration in business income and our close friends are aware that we are doing better.
They've been cheering us along this whole time (they were there when things aren't going anywhere as well) -- and now we want to spend generously and create lasting memories with our close friends. We are early 40s and strongly believe in Die with Zero and creating memory dividends.
What are the best ways to invite friends along for a FAT experience but not make them feel awkward?
Our situation: we rented a swanky villa for December in Mexico (7 bedrooms, fully serviced, top of the line) and would love to have friends join as we can't just fill it with family.
Do we just say something like "we have extra room at this place and would love for you to join us?"
Has anyone covered flights as well for less fortunate close friends? It's honestly not a financial burden but we want friendships to deepen and not get awkward.
Curious to get thoughts from redditors that have successfully navigated this.
