Hi,
I am looking for a budget subwoofer as I want to be able to really feel my music, but I don't have a lot to spend. It will only be used for music, not home cinema, and specifically hip hop so sub-bass is important.

I have found a Polk Audio Monitor XT12 for just £150 which is exactly what I would like to spend. I have seen that it is not exactly highly recommended, but given the price is this low I would like some advice on whether it would be a good purchase.

For use in a medium sized living room.
