i live in a small town that’s rlly religious. my parents are really active members in the church and so am i. my girlfriend thinks that me coming out would be the easiest thing ever when it would be the opposite. she doesn’t understand that my parents would disown me. and really, i know what me and her are doing is wrong but i still love her. i just want her to understand that i can’t be with her in that way. anyways. my friends were talking about a gay guy in our school and they called him the f slur. she basically ended up finding out and she broke up with me. she says that i shouldn’t be using that word (even though i like girls evidently). but what was i supposed to do?? sit there and say “guys stop” they would’ve known that im gay too? she won’t talk to me or listen to reason. she gave me an ultimatum that i either stop being friends with them or she’ll leave me. how do i approach this without losing her and my entire world.
