Hi there! I am planning on going from harrisburg to philly via train for a few days and I was curious what the best place to park would be. Are there any places that are reasonably priced and near the train that anyone could recommend?
Ive heard some people recommend using the middletown station, but I honestly dont know anything about the trains in the area so any help would be appreciated!
Hello! This is my first post on here so forgive me if im not doing something right! But, I am now officially 7 days post-op and have obviously been thoroughly enjoying the myriad of side effects that come with!
For context, I (F 21) had a 1.4 cm PTC nodule on my isthmus that resulted in a total thyroidectomy with level VI neck dissection that took 13 lymph nodes and a parathyroid casualty with it.
I knew fatigue was a possible side effect of getting my thyroid out, but as I already have chronic fatigue that demands a minimum of 12 hours of sleep, I figured I would probably be somewhat entertained by that result. As luck would have it, however, the complete opposite has set upon me.
The one good thing about my average sleeping habits were that I was expecting to be mostly unconscious through the uncomfortable healing phase! :( Unfortunately now I cant say thats really been the case.
I dont know if my sudden burst of energy is from my new meds, anesthetic residue, my heads physical inability to reach a reasonable sleeping position, or something else, but im really ready to not be on either end of these extremes any more.
Did anyone else struggle with sleeping after surgery? If so, im curious how other people's experiences with it have been!
