No Ham4Ham this year? I'm begging for a Gaston-off with Joshua Henry and Luke Evans!
I haven't heard any rumblings of any live Ham4Ham performances leading up to the Tonys this year. Has there been news of if it's in the works or not?
Also, I just love that Joshua Henry and Luke Evans both portrayed Gaston in major Disney Beauty and the Beast films, are both leads in Broadway shows this season, AND are both nominated for the Best Lead Actor in a Musical Tony.
So this post is my manifestation / petition for Lin-Manuel Miranda to see if there's ANY possibility of a joint live performance of "Gaston" via Ham4Ham because it seems like the perfect vector for a fun Tony Awards promo session that's a little different from the usual lead-up performances of the nominated actors' own big songs from the shows they're in.
I also see someone from their respective shows' companies (Ragtime and Rocky Horror Show) taking on LeFou! (So many incredible options!)
Can anyone else see my vision?
