I bought this fertilizer for my tomatoes, but I don’t know how to use it. Should I mix it into the soil before planting, or plant it and then sprinkle some around the base of the tomato plant later? I’m a first-time gardener and I don’t want to kill my plants right at the start of the season. My last frost date is tomorrow, but I’m going to wait until Memorial Day week; apparently, that's the planting week for zone 6b in western Pennsylvania.
